TANJUNG HARAPAN


Tanjung Harapan letaknya tidak jauh daripada Pelabuhan Utara atau North Port. Di sekitar kawasan ini terdapat kilang-kilang dan gudang kerana Port Klang adalah juga kawasan perindustrian. Istimewanya di Tanjung Harapan ialah kapal-kapal dagang yang besar dan bot-bot kecil boleh saja dilihat berlabuh, belayar keluar dan masuk ke pelabuhan dengan jelas. Dulu, pada tahun 90-an, kawasan ini juga disebut sebagai Esplanade. Orang Klang juga memanggil tempat ini dengan nama Tanjung Gila. Tanjung Gila! Pelik bunyinyakan!
Tanjung Harapan merupakan kawasan berpantai di Selangor, yang terdekat untuk dikunjungi oleh orang-orang sekitar Klang dan Shah Alam. Teluk Rubiah Beach


Teluk Rubiah Beach is located 5 minutes from the town of Sri Manjung or 30 minutes drive from the more popular town of Lumut, Perak. This is a private beach where Teluk Rubiah Beach and Golf Resort is located. The Tenaga Nasional Power Plant is located in the vicinity. Teluk Godek


Teluk Godek Beach Resort atau dikenali sebagai pantai Air Papan adalah salah satu pusat pelancongan yang terkenal di Mersing,Johor. Nama Teluk Godek ini diambil sempena bukit yang terdapat di pantai air papan. Resort ini ditubuhkan pada tahun 1940-an.
Pantai Air Papan amat sinonim dengan Pesta Air Papan yang diadakan setiap tahun pada 1 Mei. Setiap tahun, ramai pengunjung tempatan dan luar Negara datang untuk menyertai pelbagai pertandingan dan permainan. Pantai yang rata dan panjang kira-kira 3km ini adalah amat strategik untuk bermain pelbagai permainan tradisional dan membuat persembahan.
Selain terkenal dengan Pesta Air Papan, pantai ini juga amat popular untuk para pengunjung berkelah di hujung minggu dan cuti am. Mereka boleh berenang di air biru atau bersantai di bawah pohon rendang yang tumbuh sepanjang pantai. Dari panatai ini, pengunjung akan dapat lihat kelibat Pulau Besar, Pulau Rawa, Pulau Tioman, Pulau Batu Gajah, Pulau Setinggan dan Pulau Tengah.

Teluk Cempedak


Located just 5km from Kuantan town, Teluk Cempedak beach is a favourite among local folks. Its enclosed bay is suitable for water sport activities like swimming, surfing and jet-skiing. Its casuarina-lined beach is, however, quite rocky at certain places and the waves are often rough.On the sea front, numerous restaurants and food stalls serving a wide variety of food and beverages attract throngs of locals and tourists alike. They do a brisk trade and open right till after midnight.The nearby jungle area provides a quick introduction to Malaysia's flora and fauna, with a few different species of plant life, insects and other small animals inhabiting the limited space. Beware of the macaques, as they can be quite a nuisance.Just around the corner overlooking the beach is an international-class hotel. With the sounds of big waves splashing against the gigantic rocks in the background, this is a place to be at any time of the day. Getting There From Kuantan town, take the coastal road and follow the sign to Teluk Chempedak. If you opt for public transportation, catch the No 39 bus from local bus station at Kuantan and it will take you to Teluk Chempedak for only 60 cents. Taxi is also available for only RM5.

Tanjung Resang

Tanjung Leman


Tanjung Leman is located 72km south of Mersing. It's the departure point for boats that go to some islands. Pulau Tinggi, Pulau Sibu and Sibu Besar have always been popular destinations. Tanjung Leman has a terminal and the boats are leaving at: - 09.00 hours- 14.00 hours- 18.00 hours- 21.00 hoursOn the ferry's life vests are provided and must be worn by law. The journey takes about 20 - 45 minutes. That depends on the islands where you're going to. The terminal building is new and houses toilets and restaurants. Taxis are also available to transfer visitors to Johor Bahru or any other place in Malaysia. By road, it's approximately 120km to Johor Bahru.
Just down the road from the Terminal is Tunjuk Laut Beach Resort, with some fairly decent looking chalets on the little beach. The beach and the Terminal are quite far off from the main road, which makes it a little difficult to find. There are kayaks available for those wishing to venture out beyond the shoreline. Also snorkelling is worthwhile as there are nice corals around. The beach is also a good spot to watch some white hornbills flying above.Chairs and shades are plenty for those who just want to have a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of city life with families and friends.When you follow the road to the north, you'll find a village called Kampong Tenggaroh just a few km of Tanjung Leman.

- by car from Kuala Lumpur 5 hours
- by bus and taxi from Singapore 3.5 hours
It's safe to leave your car at Tanjung Leman. There's a parking fee of RM4.- per day.
